Andrew Reynolds Gets His Due: The New Balance Numeric 933

Andrew Reynolds Gets His First Signature Shoe With New Balance The 933

"I want to be able to skate with youthfulness," says the living legend.

Skateboarding legend Andrew Reynolds, known as "The Boss," has received his first signature shoe with New Balance: the Numeric 933. This release marks a significant milestone in both Reynolds' illustrious career and New Balance's commitment to the skateboarding community and is another great example of the Numeric winning streak.

Design and Inspiration
The Numeric 933 combines the look of New Balance’s classic 99x series with everything skaters need in a modern shoe. It features curved, layered panels inspired by models like the 990v6 and 993, plus a rounded toe cap to handle wear and tear from skating. With ABZORB cushioning for impact protection and N-Durance rubber outsoles for grip, the 933 is built to perform—and still looks good doing it.

Fun Fact
Hidden under the insole are the early prototype codes, including “8055,” a nod to Reynolds’ nickname, The Boss.

Colour ways and Release Information
The Numeric 933 will debut in two colour ways: brown and grey and olive and black and both models will be available in our store. Two more colour ways will follow in the coming months. These earthy tones reflect Reynolds' personal style and New Balance's design heritage. The shoe is set to be release on April 28th, retailing at $169 and available on our website.

Reynolds' Perspective
Reynolds expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "I want to be able to skate with youthfulness." This shows his dedication to maintaining performance and style throughout his career.

"I made it a mix between a skate shoe and a runner, when I'm skating in the park, people say, 'Oh, you're skating in runners?' And that's sick. That's what I was hoping for."

So what we think?
The New Balance Numeric 933 are gonna be sick. It's a real-deal skate shoe that just so happens to have more than a little runner DNA. The thickly padded tongue and grippy flat outsole makes it clear that Reynolds designed it a straight-up skate shoe and we cant wait to skate them.
