Inspiration That Hits Close to Home
The Prodigy Capsule isn’t just another pretty ski collection. Elsa's art is inspired by three regions of the U.S. that are close to her heart: the East Coast, the Southwest high desert, and those iconic forests we all dream of skiing through. Each design tells a story of the places she loves, and the memories she’s made there. These graphics are more than just decoration—they’re a reflection of her life on the mountain and beyond.
In her own words:
“This Prodigy Capsule became a curation of my memories. Memories of summers on the East Coast shucking oysters, diving off docks, & butter-drenched lobsters. Memories of growing up in Crested Butte learning each wildflower by name and telling the cows good morning. Memories of the annual spring escape to the desert to thaw out after the long, freezing winter. My hope is that each ski will stir up your own memories... Of the places we’ve loved, the people we’ve loved, and the memories we’ve made along the way.”
Who Is Elsa Grace?
If you’re wondering who’s behind this killer collaboration, let us introduce you. Elsa Grace is no stranger to the ski world. Born and raised in Crested Butte, Colorado, she grew up in the heart of her mom’s ski shop (a lifestyle we totally relate to here at Boutique Adrenaline!). From a young age, Elsa was obsessed with outerwear—every stitch, every fabric. By the time she was 16, she became the lead outerwear buyer for her family’s ski shops.
After earning a degree in Apparel & Merchandising with a focus on Product Development at Colorado State University, Elsa dove headfirst into the industry, working with the brands she grew up loving. She now runs her own brand, Slut Strand Society, all while continuing to design some of the coolest stuff in the game—including the top sheets for the Faction Prodigy skis you’ll find here at Boutique Adrenaline.
Elsa’s design philosophy is simple: “Make cool sh*t with my friends.” And let’s just say, mission accomplished.
