The Unagi Rips is part oft he Surf Style riding family of Sector 9 boards. Piared with a pair of 9.0” Gullwing Sidewinder II Trucks. What makes these trucks so special is that they have two pivot points which allows the trucks to turn twice as sharp and fast as a standard truck. With a dual pivot hanger, you get twice the turn so if you like to carve deep and treat the concrete like your own personal waves.

Since Sector 9 was founded by surfers in Ja Jolla, California, it’s only fitting that our boards would be heavily surf-inspired throughout the years. This year’s Swell Photo Collection is no different. For this year’s offering, we’ve headed South… way South... to feature photographer Hayden Richards a.k.a. Rich Richards a.k.a. SA Rips. Hailing from South Australia, his photography is stark contrast to the bright, colorful, sun-soaked barrels you’re probably accustomed to seeing don our decks.
