Inbounds or out of bounds, the Shift has never been easier!

Details

Fit: Last: 100 mm – A medium last for feet of average width and volume. Can be heat molded using the custom heat molding process to approximately 106mm in the forefoot.

Custom Shell HD – Salomon's proven heat molding process makes boot fitting most feet quick and easy - the latest Custom Shell HD version is even quicker to mold than before. The thinner wall construction and new shell materials allow the foot to be closer to the shell and provide enhanced sensations, more power and direction energy transmission.

Flex: 130 – A very stiff flex suitable for expert level skiers.

Liner: My Custom Fit 4D Race Liner with Walk Function – A variation on Salomon's premier 4D race liner with flexible rear shaft for enhanced touring

Core-Frame Construction – A thinner walled Sensitive Shell is reinforced by the Core-Frame element that runs under the midfoot from maleolus to maleolus and stiffens the shell where you drive the ski with a minimum of added weight. Delivers precise terrain feedback and maximum power transmission to the edges.

Ski/Walk Mode: Surelock Ski Walk Mechanism – Bomber and low profile walk lever is positioned at the same level as the upper buckle to promote quicker transitions.

Buckles:  4 Micro-Adjustable Aluminum 3D Buckles – Choose from 3 different positions of the instep buckle for optimum in-step comfort, full customization and personalized foot hold.

2 Hiking Hooks – 2 additional hooks placed on both cuff's buckles expand the range of motion and mobility of the boot when it’s in hike mode, improving your comfort when heading up towards a peak.

Power Strap: 45mm Sense Claw Power Strap – Two positions for customized fit and sensation. The unhooked position allows you to reach the right level of progressiveness and rebound, while the hooked position ensures maximum stiffness and performance.

Sole: GripWalk ISO 23223 Outsoles – Removable and interchangeable rockered soles designed to work with GripWalk binding systems for better grip and comfort while walking, standing, and hiking.

Integrated Tech Inserts – Low-tech inserts are integrated into the shell, making it complementary to touring bindings, so you can experience reliability and direct power transmission when skinning up.

Midgrip Sole – A Contagrip® piece between the toe and heel and GripWalk pads improve the boot's grip in difficult terrain such as a rocky summits, ice and other uneven surfaces.
